ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Service Delivery Manager – IT Asset Management to join our team in McLean, VA. and Chantilly, VA.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:IT Asset Management:Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning of hardware and software.Implement and enforce asset management processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization of IT resources.Maintain up-to-date records of all IT assets, including servers, desktops, laptops, peripherals, software, and licenses.Storeroom and Parts Room Management:Manage the storeroom and parts room, ensuring proper storage, organization, and accessibility of IT equipment and spare parts.Track inventory levels and reorder parts as needed to support operational requirements.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing of parts and hardware.Asset Audits:Lead and conduct regular asset audits to ensure inventory accuracy, track asset location, and verify the condition of IT assets.Identify discrepancies or issues in asset records and develop corrective action plans.Prepare and present audit reports to senior leadership and recommend improvements based on audit findings.IT Refresh Efforts:Plan and execute IT hardware refresh initiatives, ensuring timely replacement and upgrade of obsolete or underperforming technology.Collaborate with IT and business teams to assess hardware and software needs, develop refresh schedules, and manage the deployment process.Manage the disposal or recycling of retired assets in compliance with environmental and data security regulations.Process Improvement & Reporting:Continuously improve IT asset management processes, tools, and systems to enhance operational efficiency.Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting on asset utilization, lifecycle status, and inventory levels.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards regarding asset tracking, data protection, and IT governance.Collaboration and Support:Work closely with mission partner and other business units to understand and fulfill asset needs.Provide training and guidance to team members on asset management best practices and tools.Leadership:Recruitment & Staffing: Conduct interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for various roles. Collaborate with PMO to define job requirements, gather role-specific details and ensure job descriptions align with business objectives and compliance standards.Employee Relations & Support: Lead and inspire teams to successfully execute projects and meet organizational goals, providing guidance, support, and clear direction to team members. Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development.Time Card Management: Oversee and manage the time card process for all employees, ensuring accurate recording of work hours, overtime, and leave.Performance Management: Work with Human Resources and PMO to develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans or Correction Action Forms for employees who are not meeting performance expectations. Coordinate and conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback on employee strengths, areas for improvement, and career development.Hours of coverage: Individual shift may vary, but you will be a member of a team that provides coverage from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.Job Location:Teams are dispersed between McLean, Chantilly and Herndon, VA. Travel to buildings will be required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum of 10 years of experience in IT asset management or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 14 or more years.Strong knowledge of asset management software, IT lifecycle management, and inventory tracking.Experience managing hardware storerooms, parts rooms, or similar inventory environments.Familiarity with IT refresh cycles, hardware deployment, and disposal regulations.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:ITIL certification or similar asset management certification.Experience with asset management tools such as ServiceNow, Lansweeper, or similar platforms.Knowledge of environmental and data security standards related to IT asset disposal.Clearance Requirements:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Office Work:Ability to sit for extended periods while managing asset databases, overseeing records, and communicating with vendors and teams.Ability to use a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods to track and manage assets.Visual acuity to monitor asset details and reports accurately on screen or in printed form.Ability to speak, listen, and communicate effectively with team members, clients, or customers through phone, video conferencing, and in-person communication.Occasional Lifting and Carrying:Ability to lift, move, or carry lightweight office supplies or assets (typically up to 20-30 pounds), such as hardware or office equipment.Assist with the transportation of IT equipment and asset materials between locations when needed.Standing and Walking:Ability to stand and walk around an office or warehouse setting to perform inventory checks, audits, and asset inspections.Frequent walking to various parts of the building or to warehouses to inspect, assess, or update asset records.Bending, Stooping, and Reaching:Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to retrieve or organize items from shelves, cabinets, or storage areas in offices or warehouses.Visual and Mental Focus:Ability to focus on visual details and physical condition of assets, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and storage.Ability to read and interpret inventory management reports, spreadsheets, and asset documentation with a high level of attention to detail.Manual Dexterity:Ability to operate small tools or equipment for managing physical assets, performing basic repairs, or preparing assets for shipment or disposal.Climbing and Stairs:Ability to navigate stairs or ladders if assets are stored in multiple levels or locations that require such movement.Travel:Occasional travel to other office locations within the Northern Virginia, District of Columbia and Maryland to perform asset assessments or audits, requiring the ability to drive or use public transportation.
